Download WooCommerce from your WordPress dashboard
Installing WooCommerce on your WordPress website is exactly the same as installing a plugin:
- Log in to your WordPress site and go to the dashboard.
- Go to Plugins > New Plugin.
- Search for “WooCommerce” in the search bar. You probably see a whole list of plugins, but the one just called WooCommerce is it.
- Click ‘Install Now’.
In your WordPress dashboard menu, 2 new items will now appear: WooCommerce and Products. The first is to get your WooCommerce settings right. In the second you add your products.

You can also download WooCommerce like other plugins from the WordPress plugin directory:
Via the plugin directory, you need to upload WooCommerce to your website via Plugins > New Plugin > Upload Plugin
You will then see 2 new items in your WordPress menu: WooCommerce and Products. The first is to get your WooCommerce settings right. In the second you can add your products.
