However, which one is the best choice for you will depend on the tools you use on your website. Moreover, the GDPR legislation is a complicated one. For example, in 2022 a German website was penalized for using Google Fonts for their typography without complying with GDPR regulations. Google Fonts is a service that many European websites also use, so many sites would be out of compliance as a result. We find that not every cookie plugin takes this into account. Whether this causes problems will depend on your website.
